Relationship between Knowledge, Attitude, and Preventive Measures against Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in Community

Abstract: North Sulawesi Province is included in the category with highest cases of dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) Indonesia. This study aimed to evaluate relationship between know-ledge, attitude, and preventive measures against DHF community. Thia was an analytical descriptive a cross sectional design. Respondents were people who lived Puskesmas (primary health center) Kelurahan Sario Kotabaru Kota Manado area. There 89 respondents this obtained by using incidental sampling technique. The results showed that occurred 5 (5.6%). majority had moderate knowledge (52.8%), agreeable attitude (70.8%), (55.1%). Bivariate analysis resulted significant occurrence (p=0.020); (p=0.001); (p=0.016). Multivariate linear regression most related factor (Exp B=-0.034, coefficient =-0.140, p= 0.002). In conclusion, there knowledge, occurrence. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan pencegahan masyarakat terhadap DBD. Jenis penelitian ialah analitik deskriptif desain potong lintang. Responden wilayah sebanyak orang diperoleh menggunakan teknik insidental. Hasil menunjukkan kejadian DBD terdapat pada responden (5,6%). paling banyak terdistribusi pengetahuan cukup (52,8%), sikap setuju (70,8%), (55,1%). analisis bivariat adanya bermakna (p=0,020), (p=0,001), (p=0,016). Analisis multivariat regresi liniear mendapatkan bahwa merupakan faktor yang berhubungan B=-0,034, koefisien regresi=-0,140, nilai p=0,002). Simpulan Sikap DBD.Kata kunci: (DBD); pengetahuan; sikap;
